The PGY1 Pharmacy residency is an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)-accredited program. PGY1 residents take on the role of clinical pharmacists and provide care to patients in a variety of patient care settings under the guidance of skilled preceptors.

There are currently six ASHP-accredited residency programs: PGY1 Pharmacy Residency: fully accredited by ASHP since 2005. PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency: fully accredited by ASHP since 2017. PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency: fully accredited by ASHP since 2019.
