29 Μαρ 2024 · The updated Philippine Salary Grade System for 2024 sets up a strong pay structure to attract and keep top talent in government with fair and competitive salaries. With the new Salary Standardization Law VI and Executive Order No. 64, there will be major changes to ensure government workers are paid fairly considering inflation and productivity.
The new salary rates that is effective on January 1, 2024 pursuant to EO No. 64, s. 2024 shall be in accordance with the First Tranche Monthly Salary Schedule for Civilian Personnel, which is attached as Annex A to this Circular. not covered by Republic Act (RA) No. 10149^ and EO No. 150, s. 2021^,
The grades range from level 1 (lowest pay) to level 33 (highest pay), determining workers’ monthly pay based on job difficulty, responsibilities, and the assigned salary grade. Each salary grade is further broken down into 8 steps, except SG-33 having 2 steps, allowing for incremental salary increases tied to performance.
