23 Μαρ 2021 · Long story short- if you are looking for a comfortable and versatile AIWB chassis that accommodates a wide swath of handguns, the PHLster ENIGMA is worthy of your consideration. I was furnished with this chassis/holster from the manufacturer so I could test it and give my honest feedback.
It works with all PHLster IWB holsters except light bearing (Floodlight compatible Enigma coming in January). Skeleton, Classic, and City Special are all good to go. 👍🏽 If the holster you're looking at has a TuckStrut, you may want to head over and grab a Dark Wing from DSG, because they work the best with the Enigma's panel geometry.
30 Σεπ 2021 · So if you carry a small self-defense handgun like a Sig P365, Glock 43, Springfield Hellcat, etc., and find you're still having issues with printing, you might want to give the Phlster Enigma a try. Using the Enigma With my Type B:
If you go on Phlster website you can order a lightbearing skeleton holster for the 365 from them and then mount that on your enigma. Or if you haven’t ordered the enigma yet I’d recommend ordering the express lightbearing enigma for your gun.
For people who have the enigma and wear it often, are there any negatives to it compared to a holster and belt? Can the enigma replace the holster and belt setup completely? Besides owb carry, how is a holster and belt setup better than the enigma?
7 Μαρ 2021 · It is absolutely evident that Jon and the PHLster crew are shooters, and every detail has been well-thought out. There are no superfluous frills, gimmicks, or anything else with the ENIGMA. At the end of the day, here’s how I rate the PHLster ENIGMA;
15 Μαρ 2022 · I use a Ruger LCR in a Phlster City Special holster on the Enigma (of note, the City Special is also the best snub revolver holster I have ever used) along with a Speedbeez LCR speedloader in a Speedbeez speedloader pouch, which also affixes to the Enigma with no added bulk or discomfort.
