24 Φεβ 2023 · Report grant scams. Never respond to any schemes that try to get you to pay money or give your personal information for an HHS grant. If you receive such a call or message, submit a hotline complaint or call 1-800-HHS-TIPS (1-800-447-8477; TTY 1-800-377-4950).
Advance fee grant scams typically begin with a phone call, text message, email, or social media message that falsely claims you are eligible for a grant. Invariably, however, you will be directed to send money to the scam artist to pay taxes or fees in order to receive the grant.
