Mount Scott is probably the most well known peak in Oklahoma next to the high point of Black Mesa. One does not normally think of Oklahoma as a state with mountains, and thus is pleasantly surprised when first seeing Mt. Scott and the rest of the Wichita Mountains rising out of the prairie.
