30 Νοε 2020 · An up-and-coming band called Sunset Curve, consisting of teenagers Luke Patterson (Charlie Gillespie), Alex (Owen Joyner), Reggie (Jeremy Shada), and Trevor “Bobby” Wilson (Taylor Kare, Steve Bacic), has just finished up the soundcheck for their gig at Hollywood’s Orpheum theater, the biggest gig in their careers so far.
Sunset Curve is a fictional punk rock band featured in the Netflix series Julie and the Phantoms. The band consists of three members, Alex, Luke, and Reggie, who tragically died before they could perform at the Orpheum Theater.
Julie and the Phantoms is a band created by Julie and the former members of Sunset Curve. To everyone they are known as a 'hologram band'. They are officially given their band name by Flynn, who also acts as their self appointed manager.

Unsurprisingly, there were many names considered for the boys’ band before Sunset Curve was chosen. But what likely went unnoticed is the series’ nod to these. In the season finale, there are band posters hanging in the background of the Orpheum.
