North Carolina takes care of state employees and state retirees by offering health plan coverage to members of the Teachers' and State Employees' Retirement Systems (TSERS). The State Health Plan offers medical and prescription drug coverage.
As a Medicare-eligible member, you will continue to have three plan options in 2025: the Humana® Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) Base Plan (90/10), the Humana® Group Medicare Advantage (PPO) Enhanced (90/10) Plan, and the Base PPO Plan (70/30), administered by Aetna.
