5 Μαρ 2024 · Class D Airspace. You’ll find Class D airspace at airports that are busy enough to have a control tower but not as busy as Class C airspace. The sectional chart depicts Class D airspace with dashed blue lines. The number in the box indicates the ceiling in hundreds of feet MSL.
This list is my personal guide of recommended radio phrases, examples, scripts, terms, and lingo for pilots who are fairly new to flying in busy, controlled airspace and airports. Study these terms and commit them to memory.

30 Αυγ 2022 · Learning to talk like a pilot requires you to pay attention, pick up on things other pilots say, and practice. The most important things to know as a beginner pilot include the phonetic alphabet, general aviation terms, and the most common phrases between yourself, your crew, and ATC.
Enter (exit) the holding pattern (circular/oval path, usually drawn at the beginning of the approach). If entering, continue to fly it until further clearance.
