1 Μαρ 2010 · After I would preform some operation like copy files from the cd to the desktop the cd would then be blank. I would have to open and close the cd drive before it could read the cd again. So i did a internet search for how to run ra2 without cd and found this thread.

29 Αυγ 2015 · For some reason, only Yuri's Revenge works on Origin, and Red Alert 2 Base Game works for non-Origin if and only if Yuri's Revenge is not installed. Mods for Yuri's Revenge (Metal Omega) work perfectly as well.
Chrono Divide is a fan-made project which aims to recreate the original "Red Alert 2" from the "Command & Conquer" series using web technologies. The result is a game client that runs in your web browser, with no additional plugins or applications installed.
It runs on Microsoft Windows both on single and multiplayer mode. The game can also be played with multiplayer using CnCNet. In single-player, Red Alert 2 features the same main two campaigns which make their appearance in the first game: the Soviets and the Allies.
You will, however, need no-cd patches then to actually run the games. By now, though, Command & Conquer 1, Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun are all freeware, and they have all been upgraded with community-created unofficial patches that fix a lot of their bugs and compatibility problems, too.
