Does anyone know how to install mods (ideally from the steam workshop) correctly in the cracked version of black ops 3? Things that don’t work: Simply subscribing to the mod on steam, downloading and dropping the mod into the mods folder (and renaming it correctly)

So I am wondering if anyone here had any experience with using a pirated copy of Call of Duty (Ideally Black Ops 1, Black Ops 2 or Modern Warfare 3) with the Plutonium launcher, if it works and how you got it working if you had to jump through any hoops, Thank you for your time :)

How to install Plutonium Mod # Plutonium Launcher # Download plutonium.exe; You can save the launcher anywhere you want, somewhere convenient such as your desktop or the game folder. Open the launcher, if smart screen comes up click More info, then Run anyway. The launcher will now start the process of installing the client files.

I saw a few people on YouTube talking about an alternate client called the Plutonium Project that has its own dedicated multiplayer servers and decided to give it a go. When I ran the install file through VirusTotal though it got 2 flags as a trojan. I know sometimes this happens with mod programs, but it still makes me wary to try it for myself.
