Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made using HaxeFlixel and originally created for Ludum Dare 47 by ninjamuffin99, Kawai Sprite, PhantomArcade and evilsk8r. Currently developed by The Funkin' Crew, the game can be played on Newgrounds or downloaded for free on itch.io.

The profile picture used by The Funkin' Crew Inc. on their FNF_Developers Twitter, TikTok and YouTube accounts featuring Boyfriend.
Car's name originates from a typo of "Cat", evident by the R and T keys being placed directly next to each other on the traditional QWERTY keyboard. Car's Little Song, and by extension Car himself, works differently than most other Friday Night Funkin' songs.
