Hey I recently stumbled upon Pokemon Heart Red, and the authors goal seemed to be similar to my never started goal for a hack. Unfortunately he seems to have disappeared and the project seems to be abandoned which is upsetting because he was so far into it. After seeing his progress I wanted to continue it.
I can't seem to find a rom of Heart Gold that actually works with it, anyone willing to help? Archived post. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast.
Gen 1 remade in Gen 4: Heart Red once it's finished. Gen 2: Play Polished Crystal (more features, like running shoes) or Perfect Crystal . Maybe Crystal Emu Edition (more vanilla - just availability changes)
15 Ιουν 2014 · - Gender Selection screen now has proper Red/Leaf sprites. - Red's sprite is now shown when using HMs/swimming. - Nidoran is now shown instead of Marill on the intro.
17 Οκτ 2024 · This is a ROM hack of Pokemon Heart Gold which aims to remake the classic game Pokémon Red. Dialogue is taken from the Gameboy Advance versions ( Fire Red & Leaf Green ) however there are no plans to include the Sevii Islands like there are in those games.

17 Οκτ 2024 · Good work man, a full fan made remake of FireRed and LeafGreen! This needs more attention, the rom making has gotten slow nowadays. EDIT: Looks like i was able to make it past the old man but the weird thing is, in the poke ball demonstration the old man turns out to be a girl with a Marill.
