I tried searching for the same thing to do in a DS emulator such as NO$GBA or DeSmuME but found nothing, just a bunch of 5 year old guides which speed up very little or make the game unplayable by skipping frames via settings. I need a speed toggle like on VBA, any ideas if this is possible? Thanks!
The lack of speed up is not due to the rom hack. I have the same issue on the base game. Bumping, I would like to know how to increase in game speed as well. It's easy to find the settings in citra or in melonDS desktop mode, but no clue how to do it thru emudeck.
25 Οκτ 2024 · After reading a couple of forums on how to speed it up (which basically only increased the speed of the emulator slightly)...I've figured out a way, my own way, how to make it run faster...no lag in the music or nuthin.
By pressing the left shoulder button, Down on the D-Pad and Select at the same time you can open the bootstrap menu. Down to options, then Clock Speed. Unfortunately some games (usually older ones) have a set rate that can’t be changed.
