9 Οκτ 2024 · Pokémon Sparkling Red is an in-development ROM hack of Pokémon Fire Red, focusing on shiny Pokemon. With over 350 custom shinies and drastically increased shiny odds, your Pokémon adventure will be filled with shiny Pokémon.
This Gengar will be regular non-shiny in PKHeX, but will appear shiny if the game was edited correctly. If so, congratulations, you've edited your save to have a higher chance of encountering fake shinies!
16 Αυγ 2021 · Starting at line 0A, you should see the values 08 28 01 D2 01. Again, change the "08" to "FF" for 1/257 shiny odds. Make sure to save the file. From there, I recommend starting that Rom or making a randomizer of that specific rom and doing encounters until you find a shiny to double check.
With Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, at least, you can use IPS Patches to customise the shiny rate: https://gbatemp.net/threads/usum-ips-patches.488802/. If you're a bit more advanced, you can also customise it yourself using PK3DS.
