13 Νοε 2019 · The lid was breaking and wouldn’t seal correctly. The floor was rotten and falling apart. Basically, we were one bump away from losing the entire thing. So a Pop Up Camper Storage Box Rebuild ended up at the TOP of the must-do list.
1. Order a replacement thru dealer. I believe however I have to order the top storage trunk assembly and not just the lid itself. This could be costly. 2. Replace the lid only (since this is the only issue) with marine grade plywood (1/2 inch). This will be far cheaper. Measure, cut and apply rubber seals.
Just wondering if anyone knows were to get or how to fix the lid on storage box of camper? I have a '98 Coleman bayside and the front compartment lid (large plastic lid that opens to storage) is cracked.
