A New V2 Engine for the Harley “V-Rod”. Under the development name “Revolution Engine”, in 2002 development partner Porsche Engineering developed a new V2 engine for the “V-Rod” model of the American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson.

And to prove the engine was reliable, Porsche subjected to its Düsseldorf Test, which required running the V-twin for 500 hours straight.
