27 Φεβ 2018 · Mahón – or Maó, as it is known locally – is Menorca’s compact and picturesque capital city. Set around the second biggest natural harbour in the world, there are beautiful views aplenty, and the eclectic architecture reflects the island’s various occupations.
Top ways to experience Port of Maó-Mahón and nearby attractions. Great little city, lots to see, churches, markets. marina, sea views, walks, museums, Gin factory … the tapas bars at the Fish market are a great way to try something different. Nice streets to stroll in between the bus station & the churches.
