The Arizona State Board of Accountancy is established by A.R.S. § 32-702 and consists of seven board members who are residents of Arizona and who are appointed by the Governor for five-year terms. Five members are Certified Public Accountants and two are public members.
The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) is an association dedicated to serving the 56 state boards of accountancy. These are the boards that regulate the accountancy profession in the United States of America .
