But Postal Inspectors are finding that some postal customers paid more for a change of address on other websites.

26 Ιουν 2024 · Have you received unsolicited mobile text messages with an unfamiliar or strange web link that indicates a USPS delivery requires a response from you? If you never signed up for a USPS tracking request for a specific package, then don’t click the link! This type of text message is a scam called smishing.
Your tracking number can be found in the following places: Your sales receipt if you bought insurance at the Post Office™. Your email confirmation if you shipped from USPS.com. The shipping confirmation email you received from an online retailer.
To file a complaint about theft, fraud, or waste at a USPS facility or by a USPS employee, contact the USPS Office of the Inspector General (OIG). File a complaint online. Call 1-888-USPS-OIG (1-888-877-7644). Report mail fraud or theft by a person or company outside USPS.
