6 Μαΐ 2024 · OTTAWA – Canada Post’s proposed postage rate increase takes effect today. For stamps purchased in a booklet, coil or pane, which represent most stamp sales, the rate increases by seven cents, to 99 cents per stamp. The price of a single domestic stamp increases to $1.15, up from $1.07.
Incentive Lettermail items accompanied by a manually prepared order will be priced at the applicable Lettermail meter or postal indicia prices. All prices are subject to any applicable rebates, discounts, fees, surcharges, adjustments and taxes.

The changes will go into place today, Monday, September 12, 2022. The price increase is due to rising costs related to processing and delivery, and the need to serve more addresses. During their peak season (October 31, 2022 to January 15, 2023) additional surcharges will also be adjusted.
