1 Οκτ 2024 · POST produces a wide variety of publications designed to enhance the professionalism of California law enforcement. All publications are researched and developed by work groups comprised of POST staff and subject matter resource staff. They are sanctioned by the POST Commission prior to release.
California law enforcement or dispatch agencies in the POST program, POST-certified training presenters, and presenters and students of the California basic course instructional system are allowed to copy this publication for non-commercial use.
The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) was established by the Legislature in 1959 to set minimum selection and training standards for California law enforcement.
Basic Police Academy. This full-time, 904-hour intensive course satisfies the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) minimum training requirements for California entry-level peace officers.
