As required by the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022 (PSRA), certain Medicare-eligible Postal Service annuitants and their Medicare-eligible family members must enroll in Medicare Part B to remain enrolled in a PSHB plan.
After Jan. 1, 2025, annuitants who are enrolled in Medicare Part B must stay enrolled to keep PSHB coverage, unless an exception applies. For Medicare-eligible annuitants, Medicare will be the primary payer for your eligible medical claims, and PSHB will be the secondary payer.
