12 Αυγ 2018 · Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. The following steps apply to both real and false paper jams. The document includes all the places to look to ensure there is not actually a bit of paper somewhere in the printer.
Follow these steps: Close the scanner cover, and then reconnect the power cord. Open the scanner cover again, and then hold down the Stop/Exit button until the print head moves to the centre. Unplug the machine from the power source and remove the jammed paper.
Enlarge your print size and print the document in poster mode. Select the print command in your application. Select Brother MFC-XXXX Printer (where XXXX is the name of your model), and then click the printing properties or preferences button. The printer driver window appears. Click the Basic tab.
10 Οκτ 2014 · there is no paper jam: the paper jam error message is false. Here's how it goes: The red error light blinks, a paper jam error message appears in the window, I pull out the paper tray enouigh to see that there is indeed no jam, push the tray back in, and printing proceeds.
If paper is jammed inside the machine, a screen such as shown below appears on the touch panel display. Use this screen to immediately locate and clear the paper jam.
