Poulnabrone dolmen (Irish: Poll na Brón, lit. 'Hole of the Quernstone' [2]) is a large dolmen (or cromlech, [3] a type of single-chamber portal tomb) located in the Burren, County Clare, Ireland.
30 Αυγ 2015 · Poulnabrone is a portal tomb in the region known as the Burren, County Clare, Ireland and the oldest dated megalithic monument in the land. The name means "Hole of the Quern Stones", but the site is also commonly referred to as "Hole of the Sorrows".
This survey was conducted as a descriptive cross-sectional knowledge, attitude, and practice of medicinal foods on MBBS-qualified doctors. The sample of 713 doctors was selected using a multistage cluster sampling technique, and data were collected using a validated, self-administered, structured questionnaire.

The site has had the benefit of a considerable quantity of radiocarbon dates and as the report states Poulnabrone is ‘by far the best-dated portal tomb in Ireland’ (p93).
