1 Ιαν 2012 · The primary goal of this guideline is to provide a foundation for the implementation of interventions shown to have been effective in reducing the burden of postpartum haemorrhage (PPH). Health professionals responsible for developing national and local health policies constitute the main target audience of this document.
Heavy bleeding after a baby is born (postpartum haemorrhage) is a complication of pregnancy that has the potential to be very serious, even resulting in death in rare cases. Some women will have risk factors for heavy bleeding, but most will not.
27 Σεπ 2021 · Here, we report an unusual case of an initially asymptomatic COVID-infected woman who later developed Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) and mild respiratory distress at Mal Superspeciality Hospital, West Bengal, India. A 23-year-old G2P1 female patient, BMI 23, was admitted on 11th June 2021 with labour pains of gradually increasing intensity.
28 Αυγ 2024 · Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) is an obstetric emergency. It is one of the top five causes of maternal mortality in both resource-abundant and resource-limited countries, although the absolute risk of death from PPH is much lower in the former.
9 Μαΐ 2023 · Between August and October 2021, all the participating hospitals entered a 7-month baseline period during which they provided usual care for postpartum hemorrhage.
During the IAP project (2021 – 2022), we developed a generic PPH protocol and clinical pathway using the WHO PPH recommendations.
