Our historic 25-acre Brooklyn campus is more than a place to learn. It’s a lush haven where students create, work, and grow alongside fellow artists and innovators during our 4 week credit intensive program.

Earn elective college credits while working with Pratt faculty in specialized facilities. Find your place at Pratt this summer, in our immersive college-level program. Spend the summer on Pratt’s Brooklyn campus in intensive art, design, architecture, or creative writing courses, enriched by the artistic and cultural resources of New York City.
Summer PreCollege students are all enrolled in two classes from the list below; students will be asked to rank their top three choices in their application. These hands-on classes provide exploration of the diversity of disciplines available at Pratt.
Each summer, students seize the opportunity to experience college-level study in the Pratt PreCollege program. Students are immersed in programs of art, design, architecture, creative writing, or critical/visual studies.
High-achieving students have the opportunity to spend two weeks this summer on campus at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia with Summer Springboard. Learn, explore, and grow at a leading research institute ranked in the top 10 of public U.S. universities.
PreCollege programs support future artists, designers, and creative thinkers to develop their skills and creative voice. Students enrolled in credit-bearing PreCollege classes receive elective credits accepted at Pratt and most other colleges and universities.
The PreCollege summer program provides high school students with rigorous college-level art, design, and creative-thinking courses, modeled after Pratt’s undergraduate offerings.
