The 7.7X54mm caliber French MAS Model 1936 rifle was in service from 1936 to 1949. Starting about 1948, rifles were manufactured with a built-in grenade launcher. They were produced until 1951. The French designation for these rifles was MAS 36 LG48.
Trigger guard is the pre-war milled variant. Includes cruciform spike bayonet. Bayonet has heavy patina throughout. Bayonet measures 14 3/4" overall length; the spike is 10 7/8" in length. C&R eligible. No import engraving! FFL is required for delivery. See our How To Order page for instructions.

17 Ιουλ 2019 · It is a 5 round bolt action rifle chambering the 7.5x54 ( commonly referred to as 7.5 French ) round. It also incorporates a spike type bayonet that can be turned around and carried withing the body of the stock, or pulled out, turned around and mounted to the rifle through the use of a simple release button. These rifles are built like tanks.
The MAS Modèle 36 (also known as the Fusil à répétition 7 mm 5 M. 36[1]) is a military bolt-action rifle. First adopted in 1936 by France and intended to replace the Berthier and Lebel series of service rifles, it saw service long past the World War II period.
11/23/24 - For sale is a very nice MAS 36 made by St Etienne in 1945. The rifle is in great condition with a very nice parkerized finish that was applied during refurbishment. The wood furniture on the rifle is also a refurbishment replacement.
