Even years ago, I can't remember seeing any that had RCA component ports on the backplane instead of a breakout cable or dongle. Analog is slowly fading away. Video cards with the ability to output component video are few in number.
24 Μαΐ 2019 · Even if the red and green pins are broken on your VGA cable/port, you should get a black-blue image. Maybe the box doesn’t like the resolution you’re sending to it? It should work for sure with 640x480.
3 Απρ 2009 · #1 · Apr 3, 2009. I am attempting to hook up my computer to either my tv or receiver but have run into a problem getting my video to pass through. I am using a VGA to component cable for the video but keep getting a no signal error. Why would this be? Is there a better way to do this?

28 Μαρ 2007 · I even carried my gf's PC downstairs to see if I can do VGA from the PC to the TV's component. The TV screen remains BLUE, but when I hook up the cable, on the bottom left I see a "No Signal" dialog box, which then flickers randomly with "Out of Range"... it just keeps switching between those two...
24 Αυγ 2021 · I've been able to connect to the tv using HDMI, but also have an older tv that we would like to connect to using VGA to RCA and it won't recognize the connection. The Graphics and Media Control Panel says " Monitor/tv settings are not supported" when I try to switch displays.
