Arkansas Better Chance (ABC) programs are high-quality programs that serve children, ages birth to five, with a variety of risk factors. However, the majority of availability is for three- and -four-year-old children. Providers are selected for their ability to offer a high-quality program.
Scholarship Search. ASLA, The 529 Gift Plan, Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE) and the Arkansas Treasurer’s Office have partnered to provide a free scholarship search for Arkansas. It provides a collection of hundreds of scholarships and grants for which students may be eligible.
Any teaching staff or director who would like to attend a college to enroll in coursework in Early Childhood Education and who is employed at least 20 hours/week in a licensed child care center or family home is eligible to apply for a scholarship.
