If the cut off switch is repeatedly turning on and off, it could be due to a leaking valve or faulty pressure gauge. A leaking valve will cause the pressure to drop quickly, triggering the switch to turn on the motor repeatedly.
If the power supply is fine, check the pressure switches – a faulty switch can prevent the compressor from maintaining the correct pressure. Lastly, the motor could be the problem. If it’s overheated, it may need to cool down before it can operate again.
