Preston bus station is the central bus station in the city of Preston in Lancashire, England. It was built by Ove Arup and Partners in the Brutalist architectural style between 1968 and 1969, to a design by Keith Ingham and Charles Wilson of Building Design Partnership with E. H. Stazicker.
The bus terminal combines its capacity for 80 double-decker buses, 40 on each side of the building, with a four-story parking lot for 1,100 cars. Pedestrian access to the station is through a walkway and three pedestrian underpasses, one of which connects directly to the adjacent Guild Hall, at the southern end.
There is a multi storey car park located above the bus station within easy access to the city centre, and a convenience shop and a cafe on the ground floor. It provides a pay and display with parking for approximately 600 vehicles and is open 24 hours.
