The chart and photograph identify the names of the primary teeth and provide the approximate ages at which you can expect the teeth to erupt and shed. Primary teeth may be temporary, but they deserve good care.
22 Σεπ 2024 · Primary teeth exfoliation is a physiological process involving root resorption and remodeling, influenced by a combination of factors. Chronological age differs from physiological age, with the latter reflecting biological maturity and influencing exfoliation timing.
The primary dentition is comprised of 20 teeth. Often these teeth are referred to as deciduous teeth. These teeth will be exfoliated (lost) as the permanent teeth erupt. In each arch of the mouth, there are two central incisors, two lateral incisors, two canines, and four molars.
