I have since deleted the SST and all the Saitek stuff I downloaded from their website. In my research, I also came across a word document that I thought furter addressed my problem.

21 Νοε 2020 · I was in the process of starting a flight when I noticed the yoke suddenly shuttering as I turned it right and as I pulled it full back and full forward. I tried switching driver ports (all the ports appear to be up to date...except one that is no longer working).

4 Αυγ 2020 · I bought the Saitek headset because it has a mute switch built into the microphone, which I thought I could utilise instead of the key on the keyboard. However, the microphone switch turns out to be a push-button which mutes the microphone only while you keep it pressed and not an 'off/on' switch, as I had presumed.
