2 Μαΐ 2016 · As a private pilot with well over 500 hours, mostly in airplanes with yokes, I have to advise against the Saitek Pro Flight yoke because of its pronounced built in null zone. The null zone is the primary cause of X-Plane feeling twitchy and unstable - see my article on this problem for details.
20 Οκτ 2011 · After I came across this thread I ordered my Saitek Pro Flight with Extra Quadrant. (Already had the Saitek Rudder Pedals). After fretting and worrying for 2 days I finally took the yoke apart and started the mod.
15 Δεκ 2018 · I have posted 3 video clips on YouTube for those who are interested to learn about how to replace the Saitek OEM faulty pitch and roll axes potentiometers with a set of Hall Effect sensors. The only requirements are reasonable DIY skill and patience. Do not worried - no soldering is required. 🙂
10 Μαρ 2020 · The ProFlight Series 2 headset contains a small hook on the outside of both side cushions to hang an earbud if you decide to fly with one out. I find that I rely heavily on this and it works very well keeping one earbud secure and out of the way while flying.
