28 Φεβ 2011 · Parts: the bridge, gears and bearings can all be had from Penn reels (jigmaster, 4/0, squidder). Handle: Any Penn handle Type A or B and Accurate handles fit most pro gears. Heck i even put an Avet handle on my PG cs501.
17 Απρ 2009 · I recently bought a used Pro Gear Cs551. Everything looks fine but the gears are a little bit rough compared to my Cs501 or Cs625. Tried taking everything apart and greasing but I'm going to assume the pinion or pinion and main gears are a little worn. No missing teeth or visible damage.

2 Μαρ 2006 · I recently purchased Pro Gears CS 551C and aside from Pro Gear not making schematics yet available, I can't say enough for it. Very nice reel for an even better price.
8 Δεκ 2020 · KH 750 gives a second breath to the KH 120 for sure, especially with DSP correction. KH 120 + KH 750 is still a very good tool. I had them with Amphion One 15 side by side.

Sailor Pro Gear to buy or not to buy? Advice. I’ve been debating with myself if any of the Sailor Pro Gear series would be a good buy for me. I’m mostly eyeing it for the beautiful design (flat top and bottom, color choices) and the Japanese Nib size… however I have some reservations about it: I use a pretty heavy hand while writing.
