Your child must live in Orleans Parish in order to attend Benjamin Franklin High School. The school cannot admit any student not residing in Orleans Parish, regardless of circumstance. Residency in Orleans Parish must be proven with 2 of the following residency documents:
Benjamin Franklin High School is a charter high school and a magnet high school in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Commonly nicknamed "Franklin" or "Ben Franklin", the school was founded in 1957 as a school for gifted children.
At Franklin, we realize that academics is only part of the high school experience. We offer more than 80 student groups, clubs and teams. Whatever you’re interested in – anime, soccer, chess, fashion, K-pop, golf, poetry, science, drama, or robotics – we have a spot for you!
