The importance of these findings and the use of the TEG results during various stages of disease and therapeutic intervention in small animals are under investigation.
The PT is a unitized coagulation test intended for in vitro use in performing a quantitative, one-stage prothrombin time. The PT test is performed using fresh canine, feline, or equine whole blood.
