  5. 31 Μαρ 2022 · National Poetry Competition winner Eric Yip. Judges Fiona Benson, David Constantine and Rachel Long have awarded first prize for the National Poetry Competition 2021 to 19-year-old student Eric Yip, for his poem ‘Fricatives’.

  6. The competition runs annually, opening in the spring and closing at the end of October. A new team of judges (made up of three respected poets) is announced each year. The first prize is £5,000 and the top three winners are published in Britain's leading poetry magazine, The Poetry Review.
