RPCS3 is a multi-platform open-source Sony PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger written in C++ for Windows, Linux, macOS and FreeBSD. The purpose of this project is to accurately emulate the PlayStation 3 in its entirety with the power of reverse engineering and community collaboration.
29 Οκτ 2022 · The folks behind Destination Home (PlayStation home preservation project) have now started a closed beta. Active participants in the project have been able to join and test the beta online on PS3 and RPCS3, with even testers showcasing Destination Home running on the Steam Deck! (screenshot below).

4 Μαΐ 2022 · What Nagato’s Revenge’s video shows today is that Online mode is running for PlayStation home on the latest Official PS3 firmware. Until now, the reverse engineered games required a hacked PS3 (Hybrid 4.88 for example), but the team have managed to get PlayStation home to run again without a hacked console.
