I want to be able to easily move my PS5 between 2 different setups so want a power cable in both rooms. I only have 1 cable that came with the PS5 for power, but I do have an old PS3 power cable that takes the same shape as the PS5 cable.

15 Φεβ 2022 · I would love to use my PS5 controller reliably with the PS3. Does anyone know of a proper adapter that would work? I was looking at the Mayflash Magic NS2 on Amazon but I'm not super familiar with using adapters.

Yeah, the power cords are interchangeable. You're fine. Even the AV cables were interchangeable between generations before they were phased out in favor of HDMI.
