Verse 15. - My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret. The formation of the embryo in the womb seems to be intended. This remains as much a mystery as ever, notwithstanding all the pryings of modern science.
A psalm. 1 You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue. you, Lord, know it completely. 5 You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.
What does Psalm 139:15 mean? In this verse David mentions his frame was not hidden from God when God made him in secret. "My frame" signifies the strength or framework of the body, essentially meaning the skeletal structure.
3 You search out my path and my lying down. and are acquainted with all my ways. 4 Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. 5 You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.
