The XRD analysis of the prepared sample of TiO 2 nanoparticles was done using a Bruker make diffractometer, Cu-Kα X-rays of wavelength (λ)=1.5406 Å and data was taken for the 2 θ range of 10° to 70° with a step of 0.1972°.
1 Ιουλ 2013 · Morphology index (MI) derived from FWHM of XRD data explains the interrelationship of particle size and specific surface area. It is observed that MI has direct relationship with particle size...
23 Ιουλ 2019 · Analysis of a sample by powder XRD provides important information that is complementary to various microscopic and spectroscopic methods, such as phase identification, sample purity, crystallite size, and, in some cases, morphology.
TEM images show that the grain size of TiO2 micropowders and TiO2 nanopowders are 0.3-0.7 μm and 10 nm, respectively. The selected-area electron diffraction patterns of TiO2 nanopowders in rutile and anatase phases are consistent with XRD results. Key words: TiO2, anatase, rutile, micro and nanopowders, TEM, XRD.
XRD analyses have confirmed that the synthesized particles are tetragonal anatase phase TiO2 and their nanosize. XRD has also analyzed their various characters like specific surface area, dislocation density and morphology index.
