27 Δεκ 2021 · Here, we have developed model Pt/TiO 2 catalysts based on the deposition of colloidal Pt nanoparticles and studied their atomic and electronic structures before and after a postdeposition treatment that induces catalytic activity using aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy, electron energy loss spectroscopy, and first ...
1 Δεκ 2023 · Prepared TiO 2 nanorods were characterized by XRD and evidenced nanorods morphology through high resolution scanning electron microscope (HR-SEM). We have performed a detailed study on the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of the prepared heterojunction device (Pt/TiO 2 /FTO).
5 Ιαν 2023 · The changes in electronic structure of elements Ti, O, and Pt were shown clearly by the XPS measurements, indicating the formation of Ti 3+-O v-Pt δ+ interfacial sites due to the charge transfer between Pt and mpTiO 2, which can be deemed as electronic MSI (EMSI).
15 Αυγ 2020 · Our HAADF-STEM images confirm that Au particles are in the form of an alloy with Pt, and the XPS spectrum shows an increase in the electron density of Pt. It is well known that in the Pt-Au alloy system, the electron transfer from Au to Pt will reduce the binding energy of Pt-CO and promote O 2 activation on Pt [41].
1 Ιουν 2023 · S9 presents a scheme of the band gap diagram of the TiO 2 support/Pt particles system and schematically shows the formation of SBH and the transfer of visible-light-generated “hot electrons” from Pt particles to the TiO 2 support.
15 Ιουν 2024 · This study presents a thorough spectroscopic analysis of TiO 2 -Pt systems under LED irradiation, with a focus on elucidating the photodeposition process of Pt nanoparticles onto TiO 2...
23 Μαΐ 2020 · The strong metal–support interaction (SMSI) is one of the most important concepts in heterogeneous catalysis. Herein we report a study of Pt-TiO 2 SMSI using Pt/rutile TiO 2 (110) model catalysts with different Pt particle sizes by means of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, ion scattering spectroscopy, and the adsorption of probe molecules.
