Titanium (IV) dioxide (titania) exists in three common crystalline phases: rutile, which is the thermodynamically stable phase, and the metastable phases anatase and brookite. For anatase phase...
X-ray diffraction analysis was used for determining the crystalline phase of TiO 2 nanoparticles. As seen in Fig. 1a, the XRD data of TiO 2 (amorphous) indicated any discernible...
The XRD analysis of the prepared sample of TiO 2 nanoparticles was done using a Bruker make diffractometer, Cu-Kα X-rays of wavelength (λ)=1.5406 Å and data was taken for the 2 θ range of 10° to 70° with a step of 0.1972°.
In this study, the commercial TiO2 nanopowder and micropowder of anatase phase and rutile phase have been characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). XRD patterns of nano-TiO2 in rutile and anatase phases exhibit broad peaks whereas both phases of micro-TiO2 demonstrate very sharp peaks.
introduction to X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD or, mostly used, XRD) and provides helpful information. It gives a simple explanation of how a diffractometer works
13 Οκτ 2021 · X-ray diffraction (XRD) is an indispensable tool for characterising thin films of electroceramic materials. For the beginner, however, it can be a daunting technique at first due to the number of operation modes and measurements types, as well as the interpretation of the resultant patterns and scans.
