Hike along the East Fork, Santa Paula Canyon, and Last Chance Trail. You'll also pass two backpacker campgrounds: Big Cone and Jackson Hole Camp. The Forest Service has added black diamonds from the trailhead to mid-way point of Cross Camp (due to the storm damage trail marker identifiers end here).

The access trail starts off highway 150 just North of Thomas Aquinas College’s entrance. It takes you along the shady banks of Santa Paula Creek. Further along the trail there are a number of swimming holes, The trail is capped, just past Big Cone Camp, by a spectacular 25-feet waterfall.

1 Ιουλ 2018 · The Santa Paula Canyon Trail takes you to the "The Punch Bowls" in the Los Padres National Forest. This is a fairly challenging hike that is definitely not for everyone. But for many, it is quite an interesting, roughly 7 mile round trip exploration. Plan on at least a 4 to 6 hour excursion.
