Qasr Al Watan Library, part of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC), has made its membership free for all citizens and residents of the UAE, as part of its efforts to enhance access to knowledge, remove barriers for reading enthusiasts and lifelong learners, and attract more visitors to benefit from its wealth of knowledge.

Construction of the palace was completed in 2017. [5]To celebrate the heritage of the country, Sheikhs Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan (Ruler of Abu Dhabi and President of the United Arab Emirates) and Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces) decided to open the palace to the public in 2019.
