Anybody have solved this issue? There are some especially notorious cases such as Max Payne 2, where the executable provided was a cracked executable. You could actually view the scenegroup's information by opening the .exe with a hex editor.
22 Οκτ 2016 · If the CD key doesn't appear there, try verifying your cache. Right-click the game in Steam, go to Properties, then local files, and verify integrity of game cache. That usually takes a few minutes, it'll tell you if you need to do anything else.

28 Δεκ 2005 · I entered my CD-Key when loading the game which worked great for the install.. I then start the game for the first time, and it asks for the key again, no problem.. I go to enter the key...
18 Οκτ 2005 · a dump of a quake 4 backup disk included in iso: 1.4.2 official patch (no cd) and 2 serial keys install the 1.4.2 patch after you install the game to remove the dvd DRM and to fix some issues if you run it on windows 10-11

If you create a quake4key text file and save it to ~/.quake4/q4base with the following: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
