We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome ex-racehorses with the aim of giving them a worthwhile future. Not all thoroughbred’s born make it to stardom on the racetrack. Injury or just not capable of making the grade, sees thousands of ex-racehorses leave the industry every year.
New Beginnings was established in 2010 and has been providing a safe and secure environment for former racehorses, where they can adjust and be re-trained for their second career following racing. There are around 14,000 racehorses in training in Great Britain with approximately four to five thousand leaving the sport each year.
