8 Ιουν 2018 · It would be great if a new DV-10 owner could compare this radio to say a Uniden or Whistler for general analog receive and digital decoding using the same antenna for both radios. That would tell us more if the radio is having problems or if the antenna is at fault as the factory is hinting.
After watching some you tube videos done by radio amateurs, I decided to buy SA7000. I am aware this is NOT an active antenna. The HF performance is below of anything comparable and it's a big disappointment. I connected the antenna (3m above ground) with 30 m RG-213 to various ICOM transceivers.
Having owned several different Uniden and Radio Shack scanners over the years, I've found the new AOR 8200 MKIII beats them all hands down. Superior performance above even the better base scanners makes this handheld a definite winner!
Suprisingly good! Time Owned: more than 12 months. As it now is quite a few generations old, this receiver is suprisingly good. Quick scan, better selectivity than most new China made plastic boxes (all new rx no matter what the label says) and definitely most SDR-based receivers in the low and middle price segments.
