Many gaming friends I have left SOD because of the TOXIC raiding environment from what we assume are retail players. Parses, raid logs, taking the fun out of raiding. Here is an idea that we came up with that can fix this issue: Raids should drop lower item level gear based on performance.

Classic 2019 we had everyone and their dog in full bis raid logging and clearing everything. They didn’t need to optimise beyond fetching some world buffs and there were no stepping stones really needed. Compare this to vanilla which, in relative terms, likely had less % of people clear the cutting edge content than current mythic retail.
